Ducted suits whole-of-home comfort and homes with the roof space to run it properly. Splits suit single rooms, additions, and older homes where the roof will not take ductwork. We look at the building and tell you straight, including when ducted is not the right answer.
It gets calculated for the building - orientation, glazing, insulation, ceiling height and how the place is actually used. Not a rule of thumb off floor area. An undersized system runs flat out all afternoon and never catches up.
